Ziplining in Whistler

Whistler was home to the 2010 Winter Olympics, and one of
the most visited places in British Columbia. In fact, this is one of the few
destinations in the world that provides tons of adventure and fun for visitors
all year round. During winters, you get to experience skiing, tubing,
snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and more. In fact, it's the perfect and the
safest place to enjoy snow. Likewise, the summer months are also fun as you get
to do a wide range of activities such as horse riding, hiking, cycling, ziplining and
more. It is one of the most
kid-friendly destinations, and it has something for everyone.
At Lotus Land,
we take you on a ziplining tour as it is spectacular and adventurous. Our trip
begins at eight in the morning, and we can pick you if you're staying in any of
the hotels in downtown Vancouver. We take you by a comfortable bus from
Vancouver to Whistler, located about two hours north. Our bus takes you through
the scenic Sea-to-Sky Highway that gives you a glimpse of British Columbia's
beauty. Howe's Sound and the snow-capped peaks of Tantalus Mountains that
you'll see on the way are a sight to behold.
To make it convenient for you, our bus makes multiple stops
at scenic locations along this highway. One of the most prominent stops is the
Shannon Falls, the third largest waterfalls in British Columbia. After you
reach the destination, you get some time to soak in the beauty of Whistler,
walk along its many shops and restaurants and do just about anything you want.
Next, we begin our ziplining trip which lasts about three
and a half hours. Ziplining is the only activity that comes as close as
possible to flying, as it gives an exhilarated feeling of soaring through the
air. We have two ziplines, one on either side, to make it easy for two people
to ride next to each other. These ziplines are 1,500 feet in length, 400 feet
above the ground and has a drop of 200 feet. Our ziplines give you a speed of
100 km/hour to give you the best adrenaline rush ever.
After ziplining, you have some more time to explore Whistler
before we take you back to Vancouver. Our trip starts at about eight in the
morning, and we pick you if you're staying in any of the hotels in downtown
Vancouver. After an exciting day of fun and adventure, we drop you back at
seven in the evening, making the trip last for about 11 hours. We drop you back
in Vancouver, and at your hotel if you're staying in downtown.
For this trip, we require a minimum of two adults. The
weight of participants should be between 65lbs or 30 kgs to a maximum of 250 lbs or 113 kgs. Kids who
are under six years of age can join our tours even if they
don't meet the weight specifications, as they will be accompanied by a guide. You
have to however request for such tandem guides at the time of booking.
